Norwegian Dawn is truly a beauty - you'll recognize her by the Statue of Liberty adorning the hull - and she's been New York's favorite ship since she began sailing from the Big Apple in 2003. Norwegian Dawn is built for Freestyle Cruising with 12 different restaurants, nine bars and lounges, fitness center and spa, Broadway Theater, casino, three pools and more - making sure you never run out of things to see and do on your trip. Take a break from the big city and head aboard Norwegian Dawn to Bermuda, the Bahamas, Caribbean or Canada & New England

Be sure to check out the art collection in Le Bistro, where you'll find original paintings by Matisse, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh.

Big city appetite? How about a nice, juicy steak at Cagney's? Or try the Teppanyaki Room and watch as your meal is prepared by a chef who really knows how to slice and dice.

NCL's Suites and Villas - to experience the luxury.

Two Garden Villas, each having up to 5000 sq ft of space, three separate bedrooms, private garden, sundeck and the perfect top-of-the-ship location overlooking the pool deck.

First of all I would like to say that this is our first time cruising ever. We have gone on a lot of all inclusive vacations but always wanted to try cruising. My whole family was excited to go my Husband and 2 sons.

We left out of New York which was very convenient for us. Embarkation went very smoothly and soon we were on the ship. I would recommend going to the Garden buffet right away as it gets very crowded very quickly.

The ship itself did look very pretty and colorfull.

The staff itself did its job but I found they weren't as friendly as they could be. I got an occasional hello or hi but that was it. They seemed to be doing the bare minimum of what they had to do or maybe they were just overworked. Either way I didn't find the service as a positive thing.

We decided for a treat to go to a specialty restaurant one evening. I wasn't happy that we had to pay extra but was hoping that it would be worth it. We choose Salsas and really did enjoy our food and thought it was really worth it and even my boys enjoyed it.

The food for the rest of the cruise was good but average nothing special.

Bermuda was beautifull and we really did enjoy touring the island. Though our favourite times were just lying on the beach.

Overall it was a good cruise but nothing great. I don't know if I would rush to book another cruise soon but enjoyed my experience on the Norwegian Dawn.
